  1. Data processing
  • R: Besides base R, be familiar with data.table, dplyr, and tidyr for data preprossing; graphics, lattice, and ggplot2 for data visualization; car, lme4, and gam for computational modeling; Create the R package acqr for teaching statistics and illustrating data visualization;

  • Julia: Recently start to use julia for computational modeling, especially the MixedModels package, because of the speed limitations of R.
